Boysterous Presents: Fashionably Stakable NFTs

WhenStaking? Now! The Time Has Come!

One of the most common questions we’ve been asked these last few months, aside from “What does it feel like to be the most fashionable team on the blockchain & in real life?” is “When can I stake my beautiful Boysterous NFTs?”

While the answer to the former question is still pending, the answer to the latter question is: RIGHT MOTHAF*CKIN NOW. This is an exciting time for the Boysterous + Onessus community as a whole. With countless hours of work, reiteration, setbacks and successes, WhenStaking, the ultimate NFT staking protocol, is open for business and ready to reward you for HODLing your Boysterous NFTs these last few months. While, of course, staking your Boysterous NFTs for VOID (learn more here) is an exciting development for our non-fungible use case, let’s not forget that there are boundless possibilities and utility that come with owning Boysterous assets, such as our Boysterous Blending Events, special airdrops, and the opportunity to redeem physical fashion assets (be sure to check out our previous publications to catch up on our project). Staking your Boysterous NFTs is the cherry on top of the most satiable sundae on the blockchain.

Though this is an article about staking, at present, we are not attempting to advise or educate you on the staking protocol. That, our dear friends, is a strategy that you must employ for yourselves. We are here, nevertheless, to inform & excite you about the opportunities that are now available to you. For those of you who have been with us from the beginning, it’s probably safe to assume that you have some pretty opulent Boysterous NFTs in your collection- maybe some Diamonds, maybe some Golds, maybe even some of our rarest, Redeemable/Redeemed NFTs. We bring this up because some of your Boysterous NFTs are going to have much more staking power than others. For those of you who are holding some of the aforementioned rarities, you may find yourselves swimming in an ocean of VOID by the end of your staking tenure.

As you may see, the staking power of any individual NFT is determined by a few factors- i.e., the rarity, scarcity, and the objective market value. That being said, it makes sense that NFTs such as our Diamond & Redeemable/Redeemed variants have much more capacity than, say, a Platinum variant of the same Token. And as of now, there are a handful of our NFTs that do not hold enough weight to be stakable on the WhenStaking platform- i.e., the Bronze & Pearl variants as well as the majority of our Stickers. As undesirable as that may sound, we will soon introduce opportunities in blending/super blending that will give collectors a chance to upgrade their NFTs to provide future utility/staking capabilities. It’s also important to reiterate that one of the major factors in determining staking capacity is the objective value of any NFT, and with that being the case, the community as a whole has some influence in affecting the value of any given NFT. We will leave the unsaid implications for you, reader, to surmise for yourself.
